We recently enjoyed the Treasures of Turkey tour organised by the Turkey Travel Centre (TTC). This is without doubt one of the best trips that we have done. We loved Turkey very much. Wonderful history and remarkable sights.
Right from the planning stage, Michael at TTC was focussed on meeting our every need. This tour overlapped with another one that we were finishing by two days, but TTC proved to be very flexible in ensuring a seamless transition between the two tours with no lost time, overlap or cost penalty. We also liked the fact that the tour group each day was quite small. On a few occasions there were just 4 of us for the day with our own guide.
Given the distances covered, effective daily coordination was essential with different pick-ups every day. It worked brilliantly and the whole trip went smoothly and without any issues. As we arrived at each destination, we received clear directions for the next stage and without exception, those directions went exactly to plan. Meals were very good, notably the lunches which were integrated into the daily tours.
In addition the standard of hotels was excellent and connecting flights with Turkish Airlines within Turkey were great.
Finally, the standard of the daily guides was extremely good. They were very well educated and experienced for their particular roles, and were clearly passionate about what were areas of great interest to them.
To sum up, TTC proved to be efficient, flexible and customer focussed and clearly they delivered an excellent product for us.
We would recommend them highly.
