Just a short note to thank you and your staff for all the arrangements made for our recent trip to Turkey.

We had a great time. We came away from this, our second visit, more fascinated by Turkey, with the intention of making Istanbul a standard stop-over whenever we fly to Europe. Where ever we went, the Turkish people were very friendly, good humoured and treated us with kindness.

Everything went according to plan and not once were we inconvenienced with any of our transfers. All vehicles we travelled in were in very good condition, well maintained and the drivers very competent.

We enjoyed travelling domestically with Turkish Airlines, all of whose flights left on time, and where the in-flight service was consistently excellent and the refreshments served (in economy) tasty and enjoyable. Qantas could learn a lot from Turkish Airlines!

We were very happy with the accommodation arranged for us, particularly in Istanbul (Sokullu Pasa Hotel), Kusadasi (La Vista Hotel), Pamukkale (Spa Collosae Hotel) and Cappadocia (Sultan Cave Suites).

Our guides were uniformly good, particularly the excellent Mahmet in Istanbul but especially our guides in Pamukkale and Cappadocia (whose names we have unfortunately misplaced).

We bought a carpet in Istanbul from 5K Rug Store and some pottery from Guray Seramik In Nevsehir. In both cases the service we received was excellent with all purchases were safely delivered in accordance with our instructions.
