Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our trip! All the people, guides, hotel staff, drivers and travelers were outstanding. Turkey is an amazing country and felt like we were fortunate to see as much of the country as we did. Loved your concept of traveling and wished we could travel like that everywhere. Our next trip is going to France and am wondering if you know of a travel company like yours, that organizes tours the way you do. If so, would appreciate your information. We had a fabulous time in Turkey, over and beyond our expectations. Thanks Michael for organizing our Best of Turkey tour, including accommodation and transport. We adored Istanbul, the hotel both there and in Cappadocia were delightful. I was impressed by the state of all the attractions we saw as they are amazingly well maintained and the guides obviously knew their history well. Of Ephesus, Pamulkale and Cappadocia, "Kapadokya" won our hearts. What a delightful place and we are looking forward to seeing it again some day. Travelling with a 14 year old is not always a delight, but our son was thrilled with variety of places we saw and it made learning historical facts so much more interesting for him. We were delighted that like us, he too enjoyed it so much.

I must tell you how impressed we were with The Turkey Travel Centre service and indeed with Turkey in general. I've been travelling back and forth between PNG/Australia and Northern Europe on an at least annual basis for over 40 years and for some reason it's never occurred to me to even stopover in Istanbul before now. Thank you for such an enjoyable introduction to your adopted country and to its hospitable people and fascinating culture. I'm sure we'll be in contact with you again when planning our next trip.

My departure from Istanbul came on the verge of the riots so I did not experience any problems. I must admit I would not have been concerned even if I had experienced them, Turkey was one of the safest places I have ever travelled around. The news we get here now might be rather different from the reality of life there.

Here is my testimonial;

I recently had the opportunity to travel to Turkey (May 2013) and what a truly wonderful experience it was. Every one of my senses were stimulated from the moment I walked into the well organised chaos of Istanbul Airport. I was met by a driver and taken to my boutique hotel ( the first of many) in the Old City and the adventure of my "Essential Turkey Tour" began. From start to sad finish this was a well-co-ordinated program which suited my needs exactly. It did not feel like a tour. Each day I was met by a new guide and driver and invited to join a small group ( 4-8 people ) of fellow travellers. The local guides were most knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region and country and were the mainstay to the day's success. Within the busy program there was plenty of opportunity for independent exploration to experience the local people, food and culture close up. A big thanks to Michael Altan at Turkey Travel Centre who organised everything after just a single email inquiry. Nothing was missed in his organisation. At every turn of my travels what I was supposed to experience occurred, no delays, mix-ups or no shows. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to tour Turkey. My only complaint is that I chose too short a visit. Turkey is a "huge country" in every aspect, geography, people, and culture. Like me you will find yourself wanting to return to experience more of this wonderful country

Sorry for the delay in responding to your request for feedback regarding the trip you organised through Turkey and Greece. We have only just returned from our trip through Turkey, Greece, Italy, Spain, Paris and London. Our trip to Europe has been a wonderful experience and we would like to thank you for the service and itinerary that you organised for us for the 3 week period through both Turkey and Greece.
 
Firstly I would like to say, thank you for the trip you organised for us, it was exactly what we had spoken about, and the journey was smooth and effortless due to the arrangements you made for us. It was a great combination of touring and leisure, at no time did we feel overwhelmed which can happen when you tour.
 
The tour guides were wonderful and would like to give a commendation to Hammy (sorry I have forgotten her full name) she was excellent with her high level of knowledge as well her people skills, she was outstanding while we toured through Cappadocia, she was just a pleasure to listen to and be around. All the tours that you organised for us were excellent and could not fault the guides in Ephesus and Athens also.

The accommodation and transfers were great.

We enjoyed the gullet trip and will never forget some of the experiences that you set up for us, thank you so much for your help and we will definitely recommend you to our friends and family as some are planning a trip to turkey in the near future.

We also will be back someday soon and will definitely get you to organise our next trip.

Dear Michael,

What a joy it was to travel around Turkey with it all organized by yourself. We arrived at the airport with a gentlemen holding our names and from there everything was so smooth. At every point we were notified of times and locations, so easy. Our first tour guide Mesut was incredible: very friendly, excellent English and extremely knowledgable. We were fortunate enough to have him as a private tour guide for the entire day, he even extended his number in case we wanted to ask him anything during our time in Istanbul. The Bosporus cruise was wonderful and the view from the lunch destination just stunning. Thank you for including the dolmabache palace as this was just gorgeous, even more ornate than Versailles. Ali was an excellent guide through Ephesus, and the open air lunch was delicious, real home style cooking. The room and view of efe boutique were great and location fantastic, able to walk directly out onto the waterfront. Pam thermal hotel was very pleasant and the natural thermal springs and mud pools were fun and therapeutic. The highlight for me was the museum hotel. This can only be described as spectacular. The cave room was elegant, spacious, and came with built in wine taps so free flowing Cappadocian wine at your disposal. From swimming in an antique pool to the tortoises and peacocks, this was nothing short of phenomenal. The breakfast selection was just amazing and the view to die for. Most staff were unbelievably friendly including the resident German shepherd 'Joe'. Our tour guide Faith - pronounced Fati ( sorry if spelling incorrect) was a real character and his passion and enthusiasm added to the amazing landscape and sights that were in Cappadocia.

Michael thank you for organizing a seamless trip in Turkey. In only 9 's we were able to enjoy the best of Turkey without a worry.

Ian and I were delighted with arrangements for our travels in Turkey. Despite being quite complex the coordination of our arrangements ran very smoothly including the customised section of our trip. Our sister and brother in law from England were also very happy with the way you were able to include them in some modules of our itinerary.

We enjoyed the hotels you arranged finding them to be central, convenient and well run with each having something unique and special to offer.

Your recommendation of Kas for our time on the coast was wonderful. We all enjoyed this picturesque fishing village and all it offered. We would especially like to commend the Gardenia Hotel in Kas and Nevine and Omar who run this establishment and are very hospitable, friendly. They were also very helpful in planning excursions while we were staying with them. 

We were impressed with the standard of most of the local guides who escorted us during the individual segments of our tour. However Fatih in Cappadocia was particularly outstanding.

During our day with him he was able to encapsulate and express very clearly the complete history of Turkey. He obviously has a passion for the history of his country and for his job. Yucel Yaylaci our guide for the Malverna Museum in Konya was also very helpful and informative. We were amazed at the scholarship of most of the guides. 

The history of Turkey and the warmth of its people are certainly very engaging.

Tony & I wanted to say how much we enjoyed and private tour around Turkey. Our guides have been out standing the amount of in formation you are given is like having a history lesson. Our Guide in Istanbul he was fantastic with a great sense of humour. Our Epsesus and Pamukkale guide Ali he was fantastic with another great sense of humour and another great history lesson. I just wish I could remember all of it , some information is still with me.

The accommodation was varied with the hotel Mina being in great location with a wonderful roof terrace. The Efe Boutique hotel was modern and in a wonderful spot. The Pam hotel that was different with its mineral hot/mud springs another experience in the book of life. The time on the Gullet was just perfect. I do have to mention the hotel In Kas what a lovely gentlemen Omer was. It was delight to stay in his hotel. 

We really loved Turkey the sensational food the people the places we visited the whole experience was a wonderful start to our 3 month holiday in the Med.
