Our guide in Turkey Mehmet was excellent. He was flexible with our arrangements which we appreciated greatly, tweaking our itinerary as he understood our interests. His suggestions transformed the itinerary that we had devised into a truly unforgettable insight into this area of Turkey.

 

He was extremely knowledgeable with regard to a huge range of subjects – history, religion, anthropology, local customs and art. His explanations and communications about what we were seeing were interesting and relevant.

Mehmet was an excellent ambassador for Turkey, and helped us appreciate the rich culture and warmth of the Turkish people and society.

His rapport with us and with the people we encountered – the man who made us a local speciality menemen, the man who proudly took us for a tour of the tea processing factory, the men who gave us roses at the autostop – warmed out hearts and spirits.

We were left with a very positive and enriching experience due to Mehmet’s exceptional experience and skills.

Hi Michael, I've been home since the 1st August & l’m finding it pretty hard to adjust to the Adelaide weather & get back into the routine of everyday life! I really loved Turkey. I met some great people, saw awesome things & l really wished l had of been able to spend more time there. I would really love to return one day & travel at a slower pace. It was a pretty hectic 5 days, but awesome just the same! 

We had a wonderful trip and I wanted to say thank you. Hope to travel again with you! Despite some very warm weather, we enjoyed every place you suggested. I really appreciated your advice to stay the 3 days in Kas – it was such a great break and in fact would definitely put that on my list to stay for an extended period of time. Also, Istanbul during Ramadan was really fun. Anyway, thanks again for a wonderful and safe experience.

Wanted to tell you the trip was fabulous. EVERYONE was great. All bus drivers , the 2 tour guides, Turkish dinner, balloon ride. So amazing and memorable. Thank you to you and your fabulous staff.

Guides all really good, if different. All very open with regard to Turkey and the current political situation there. Mehmet - very knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent driver. Ferit - very knowledgeable with a real passion for the Romans. Also has a great sense of humour - very dry. Mustafa - very knowledgeable, gave us some very thoughtful insights into Islam.
