Hi Memehet, you were our fantastic Istanbul guide for our little group of 4 for 2 days back in May 2014. During that time you kindly arranged for a restaurant booking down in Goreme with your friend Memhet at his family restaurant Diblek so we could experience the traditional clay pot cooking later in our tour. I think he rang you at the time we were there to say our whole TTC group of 10 ended up going there for dinner not just our 4 and it was a fabulous experience and one of our trip highlights - both the food and his own wines were spectacular!.

As chance would have it I was changing the TV channel last Monday sitting in our home in Melbourne, Australia heading to a particular channel that so I could watch the stage 1 highlights of the ‘Presidential tour of Turkey’ bike race which was in Istanbul, then the live stage 2 coverage which was to be in Cappadocia and specifically going through Goreme several times   - when a show on another channel grabbed my attention.

It was a food show done by an Australian Travel writer and this week was featuring Turkey. There on the screen was Diblek, and Memhet as large as life talking about his clay pots, his family and his restaurant! The specific segment lasted for maybe 10 minutes and both Coral and I were fascinated by it……it bought back lots of special memories of not only a memorable dinner but of the fantastic time we had in Turkey touring with TTC.

I had to make contact so you could let him know we and probably others saw him on the TV and he is definitely an international star now!

Memhet – hope you and the family are going well ….guess you are about to get very busy.

Hello Michael I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our adventures in Turkey and to let you know (although I am sure you already do) what a wonderful guide you have in Mehmet. Throughout the trip he was very knowledgable and an extremely fine representative for both your company and for Turkey. The trip went off without a single problem and nothing was too much for us to ask of either Mehmet or John the driver. Well you excelled yourselves with the organisation of our recent trip.

Everything was absolutely fantastic and the Greece component of our trip was the highlight for everyone.

The quality of the Greek section on the tour was accentuated by the comparison with the Italian part, where the conclusion was "Italy gives  3-star service for 5-star prices"!! We were very sad that we've not booked our Italy trip with you!

Our guide Marissa was exceptional in her knowledge, lots of fun and her “blah, blah” (her words) was incredibly informative.  There was nothing she did not know. She was a very competent and caring guide, especially when many of our group were recovering from flu-like symptoms.  She organised a doctor to come to the hotel at Olympia, and followed up by obtaining medication where needed.

Our bus driver, Joseph, was a very competent driver, extremely helpful, very positive and really enhanced our positive experience in Greece.

The last few days in Mykonos and Santorini were a perfect conclusion to our trip, and both travel companies are to be commended for their guides, accommodation and service.

So Michael, thank you (and your company) again for your exceptional service, your prompt, courteous replies and especially your patience with my mess-up with the payment!

I will certainly continue to recommend your company to anyone I know who plan to visit Turkey.  Of course, if we end up taking another group, we will make contact with you.

We did the Gallipoli Plus tour and were very impressed by the knowledge, passion and service of the guides and bus drivers . Hotels were first class and everything went as planned without any issues. Loved Istanbul and all the places we visited and really enjoyed the gastronomic delights Turkey has to offer. The arrangements were flawless and response was always immediate. Tours were excellent, prompt and tour guides were very knowledgeable. Michael at the agency even helped me surprise my husband in Cappadocia by arranging for a sign on the mountain upon landing from our hot air balloon ride. We had an amazing adventure in Turkey well cared for and totally at ease and comfortable.

Hello Michael Just a note to say that the trip went very well indeed and that the organisation was excellent. Cappadocia was amazing as was Istanbul, except perhaps for the airport connections. Santorin and Naxos were an interesting contrast and beautiful. The hotel in Santorin was a highlight. Our guides were excellent but a special word for the guide and driver who took us to Ephesus. My wife lost of her wallet there and they were outstanding in their help. Luckily a Russian lady's children found it under some rubble, without the cash but with all cards etc, and sent it back to our home after contacting us. Amazing and so appreciated. And just a word for the Opera Hotel. I had read some negative comments online but it was a highlight, a beautiful room with a view that was perfect. All the best for the future and I am so glad that I persisted in my attempt to get to Turkey and the islands.
